***SMOKE ALONG THE TRACK

Stonewall Jackson was discovered in 1956 when he drove his pick up truck to Music City in Nashville and walked uninvited into the office of Acuff-Rose, music publishers. Wes Rose took a shine to Stonewall’s singing and songwriting and got him onto the Grand Ole Opry-without a hit record behind him, which was unheard of. “Smoke Along The Track” was one of Stonewall’s greatest hits. Exciting to play.
