Bill Allen originally cut this track for Imperial Records back in the 50s, which was also home to Fats Domino and Ricky Nelson. Imperial mainly recorded R&B and country acts, and from time to time they put out a classic barn burner. Have ya ever noticed that for many situations there is a suitable line from a song..like “Please give me something.. so the love won’t die..Just a little bit of something”. Damn.  Here’s our rendition of a Bill Allen and The Backbeats rockabilly howler.
