Shreveport Louisiana’s Faron Young was one of the finest honky tonkers to come along after Hank Williams. He was singing in a country band by the time he entered high school, and he was one of the first artists to record a song by Willie Nelson. That song was “Hello Walls”, a #1 country song for Faron in 1961. Here’s a version that me and the LA Country Gentleman just recorded.
