What WAS the first Rock & Roll record?
This topic always stirs up debate. We did a recording of 1951's Rocket 88 by Jackie Brentson & his Delta Cats, and now we have our version of Rock The Joint by Jimmy Preston, an R&B bandleader that originally recorded this song in 1949.

This one is written by Billy Bragg. His political and social point of view has always been an important part of his writing. Billy is one of the most entertaining troubadours and smartest songwriters around. Rancid toured with him in Australia. He's a super humble guy with a great sense of humor.

Olympia
This video first came out on May 31, 2011 and was kind of the roots of Tim Timebomb And Friends. It's a performance of myself and my talented friend John Morrical--he's also part of the Country Gentlemen, who back me up on country songs we do. Here's our live version of the Rancid song Olympia that we did at Blast Surf and Skate.
