I'm Real

I was in Spain for 6 months, in 2007--in Andalucia. I did a lot of recording with the musicians that I met while I was there. This is another song inspired by the 1962 film The Last Man On Earth. This is one of the songs that came out of those sessions.

The Grinch story first appeared in 1957. Besides being a poet, writer and cartoonist, Dr. Seuss who created the Grinch, wrote the lyrics to this song. This is our take on it. Merry Christmas, and Happy Holidays.

Psychotic Pineapple were one of the greatest East Bay bands of all time. I turned Jamie T onto them, and I told Jamie stories about the band, and how my brother Jeff used to go to see them play for .99 cents in 1980. Jamie T and I always talked about doing one of their songs together, and here it is.

Olga is a guitar virtuoso, I'm not fucking kidding. We did a show with Toy Dolls in France, over the past summer- and they're still world-class punk rock. I've been a fan of these guys for almost 30 years, and this is our take on one of their many great tunes.
