When Johnny Cash found out that Johnny Horton had passed away he said “I locked myself in one of the hotel’s barrooms, and cried…Johnny Horton was a good friend of mine.” Johnny Horton wrote some great songs that I really dig and one is “When It’s Springtime In Alaska”.
