It's Quite Alright

iTunes // Amazon // Spotify

Every time we play this song it comes out a little different. We never know how it's gonna land but that's what makes it fun though. I added a harmonica to it, for an acoustic show I did for the nice people at Guitar Center. This version has the Hutton Brothers and Kevin Bivona playing on it. It features a glockenspiel and plate reverb, which gives it a Phil Spector-ish vibe.

Concrete Jungle

iTunes // Amazon // Spotify

This track is HOT OFF THE GRIDDLE!! It's Friday night, and we just recorded it!! 'Concrete Jungle' was originally on The Specials self-titled album, that was produced by Elvis Costello, and was written by Roddy Byers, aka Roddy Radiation. Roddy recorded with Rancid on the 'Life Won't Wait' record -- he played the guitar solo on 'Hooligans'. The Interrupters are my backing band on this one. Check out the amazing rhythm section of Jesse and Justin, they play like identical twins...oh wait, never mind -- they ARE identical twins.

Kevin Bivona - Guitar

Jesse Bivona -Drums

Justin Bivona- Bass

Aimee Interrupter - Backing Vocals

Saturday Night At The Movies

iTunes//Amazon//Spotify

This is a ska version of the Drifter’s song, "Saturday Night At The Movies".  There have been a few reggae covers of Drifters tunes, a cover version of 'On Broadway' recorded by Dave Barker and the Aggrovators, produced by Bunny Lee, 'Save The Last Dance For Me' by the Heptones, and a version of 'At The Club' by The Pioneers. Thanks to my brother Jeff for suggesting this song.

Just For Tonight

Usually, flute is not the first instrument you normally think of when it comes to reggae, but I'm a big fan of it. The flute part on this track is inna Duke Reid Treasure Isle fashion; like John Holt's "Ali Baba", and Phyllis Dillon's "Love That A Woman".  This song was recorded with some of the 'Engine Room' musicians, who went on to record with me and Jimmy Cliff.

"Grab my guitar, I say goodbye, I'm leavin' town again"

I wrote this song a couple of years ago. It's about how everything comes together when you're on the road. We're pulling an early reggae influence on this one.
